Medical Weight Loss
Does changing weight-loss medication mean the first treatment failed?
Not necessarily. A medication can provide useful help and still need to change later. Your response, side effects, health, budget or circumstances may change. Sometimes an initial choice also helps clarify what does and does not fit.
At MedFIT, treatment is a plan that can be adjusted—not a test you pass or fail. Oral medications and GLP-1s are both established paths. A change does not automatically mean moving to something newer or more expensive.
The important question is what the next approach is intended to improve.
