How can I explain my concerns if appointments make me anxious?
You do not need a perfect explanation. A short written note can help you say what matters before nerves get in the way.
Start with what changed, when it started and what you most want help with. Put your main concern first. You can read the note aloud or use it to keep the conversation on track.
At MedFIT, understanding what is happening and what you realistically want to improve is part of the visit. It is fine to say that you feel anxious or need something explained again.
Next: Write down your main concern in one or two sentences before the appointment.
