Does the dose need to increase at every visit?
No. The dose does not need to increase at every visit.
If you are tolerating the medication well, want additional help with appetite or progress, and an increase is medically appropriate, Valerie may discuss stepping the dose up.
But patients should not expect treatment to increase automatically every month. Sometimes the right decision is to stay exactly where you are because the current dose is doing its job.
