Does a flagged lab result automatically mean something is wrong?
Not automatically. A flag means the result falls outside the laboratory’s reference range; it does not explain the cause or establish a diagnosis by itself. Some findings need prompt attention, while others need context or confirmation. MedlinePlus lab-result guidance.
At MedFIT, the result belongs alongside your symptoms, history, medicines and previous results. We do not prescribe simply to remove a flag from a report.
Likewise, an unflagged result does not make persistent symptoms imaginary.
Next: Ask what the finding means for you and whether it changes the plan, rather than trying to treat the number yourself.
